DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 94-TJ-008, between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the City of South English, transferred Unsigned Iowa 953 to the City of South English on December 5, 1994.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended to delete Unsigned Iowa 953 from the Primary Road System.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the relocation of Iowa 149 in South English, in 1988, a small section of the old Iowa 149 curve became Unsigned Iowa 953.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended the description of Unsigned Iowa 953 in Keokuk County, be included in the Primary Road System.

Locate Unsigned Iowa 953 and its extensions as follows:

.08 mile of the old Iowa 149 curve in South English.
